I Want Your “High-Loving” Emotions… Endlessly.

High Loving Emotions Blog

Have you ever misconstrued the lyrics to a song and wished the words were what YOU came up with instead? Drake has a new song, well, (new to me anyway) and it’s overly emotional, slightly sweet with a hint of my younger years, and in addition to it, there’s a focus on melodic remnants… (He’s singing the whole time y’all for goodness sake! No rap!) And it’s, lovely. What’s my favorite part you don’t ask? -O it’s the part where I act so different around him!

I’ve been singing the tune in my head all the day’s long. Only thing is, there’s this one part where he sings about wanting her “high love and emotion,” and I can’t tell if he says ‘high-love and emotion” or “hot love and emotion.” Does he say both?

What did I do? What we all do when we don’t know. I Googled it. Drumroll please:

“I want your hot love and emotion endlessly
I can’t get over you, you left your mark on me
I want your high love and emotion endlessly
Cause you’re a good girl and you know it
You act so different around me
Cause you’re a good girl and you know it
I know exactly who you could be”

-Drake

Except, other places say the lyrics are “hot love” only. Whatever Drake. We get you, you want her love and emotion. Hot or high.

Actually I’m kinda hot right now. High? Hahaha.
